Hunting

Due to a change in Texas Parks and Wildlife policy, we no longer have the capability to sell hunting licenses on premises. Therefore, you must acquire a Texas Hunting License prior to your arrival. If you already have a license please make sure that it has not expired. All licenses expire on August 31 of the current year.

Shooting Safety

For your safety, Rough Creek only allows two shooters on the ground at one time. Be assured there is plenty of shooting for everyone. Hunting safety is our first priority, therefore safety instruction will be given to all hunters prior to every hunt.

Guns with improved cylinders or skeet chokes are allowed during hunts. Guns are not allowed in guest rooms. We can store them in our locked safe in the Beretta Room or you may leave them in your vehicle. Guns are available at a nominal fee.
